Job Title: Security Guard / X-Ray Screener

Line of Business: Security

Location: LHR or LGW

Shift: Various shifts available; 4 on 4 off, Monday – Friday (Days and Nights)

Hours: 8 or 12 hours

Pay Rate: 11.75 p/h

Anderson Young Aviation are currently recruiting for Permanent Security X Ray Screener’s to join our team at Heathrow Airport or Gatwick Airport.

You will be based within the Cargo section of the airport working alongside Airfreight in a warehouse environment.

Main Job Objective

Conducting screening checks on packages and items through security escalating and recording any concerns/ issues

Operating scanning/ X Ray equipment

Working as part of a team to safeguard the network air cargo.

Requirements

Previous experience with X-Ray Screening (Desired)

Previous experience within a warehouse (Desired)

Good English communication (both written and verbal)

Must be able to works days and night shifts.

Have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.

Ability to work under pressure.

CRB Checks will be made before you are able to start work along with 5 Years work referencing.
